Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship pillar cultivates future leaders by integrating Tsinghua University's educational resources with innovation ecosystems in China and Indonesia. Programs like the Tsinghua Happiness Entrepreneurship Bootcamp enhance entrepreneurial skills, foster innovative thinking, and improve management, focusing on practical application and resource integration for sustainable development goals.

HDX has been an eye-opener and mind-opener for me. As a scientist, I have been trained to be analytical with a rather reductionist approach to test hypotheses, but when dealing with the complexity of systems in the real world it requires a different set of skills, tools, and methodologies, including systems thinking. I learned a great deal from the program and have acquired relevant competencies useful not only for my current work but also for future portfolios.
